Interreligious Dialogue 종교대화
/The interprovincial Committee on Interreligious Dialogue responds directly to Article 41 in our Constitutions. As “an international community in faith” we engage in interreligious dialogue in order to be “a sign of unity and love in the church and in the world.” (Constitutions, p.28) Vision and directional statements have supported this dialogue by urging us to “move beyond frontiers” and to “model interculturality and reconciliation.” (General Chapter 2019)
관구간 종교대화위원회 는 회헌41조에 직접 응답합니다. “신앙 안에 불리운 국제 공동체”로서 “교회와 세상 안에 일치와 사랑의 징표가 되기”(회헌29쪽) 위해 우리는 종교간 대화를 합니다. 비전선언문과 2019년 전체총회 선언문에서도 종교간 대화를 통해 “경계를 넘고” “상호문화성과 화해의 모범”을 살라고 우리를 촉구합니다.
As the interprovincial Committee on Interreligious Dialogue we engage in the work of dialogue on various levels. Some members actively engage in dialogue through teaching, research, activities with other religious (non-Christian) institutions. All members of the committee are open to learning about other religions as a means of modeling interculturality and reconciliation. As outreach for the members of the Committee, we strive to assist Sisters in each province as well as others, family, friends, those encountered in ministry to join with us in the global interreligious, interfaith community. This community strives “to act in the service of one another, to create a more just, peaceful and sustainable world.”(Parliament of the World’s Religions, April 21, 2020)
관구간종교대화위원회 는 여러 차원에서 대화를 시도합니다. 강의와 연구, 타종교(비그리스도인)의 교류에 종사하는 위원들도 있습니다. 모든 위원들은 상호문화성과 화해의 모범을 살기 위해 다른 종교를 배우고자 기꺼이 마음을 열어 놓았습니다. 수도회의 모든 회원들을 아우르고, 각 관구의 수녀님들을 도울 뿐만아니라 가족, 지인, 친구, 사도직에서 만나는 이들 모두가 종교와 신앙을 초월해서 공동체를 이루도록 노력합니다. 이런 공동체는 “보다 정의롭고, 평화로우며, 지속가능한 세상을 만들기 위해 서로에게 봉사하기 위해 노력합니다.” (세계종교의회, 2021년4월21일)
Presently we are reading and reflecting on the document from the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue and World Council of Churches Serving a Wounded World in Interreligious Solidarity, A Christian Call to Reflection and Action During COVID-19 and Beyond. (See below) We have encouraged Sisters to read, reflect and put into action the recommendations suggested. During our discussions it was pointed out that the recent encyclical of Pope Francis Fratelli Tutti (See below) has certain similarities with this document. Serving a Wounded World in Interreligious Solidarity. We are encouraging our Sisters to use both documents in communal discussions and in personal prayer and meditation.
현재 우리는 교황청 종교간대화평의회와 세계교회협의회에서 발행한 ‘상처 입은 세상에 종교간 연대로 봉사하기-코로나 사태와 그 이후의 성찰과 행동을 위한 그리스도교의 제안’ 문헌을 읽고 숙고하고 있습니다. (아래 참조) 그리고 모든 수녀님들에게 이 문헌에서 제시한 권고내용을 숙지하고 이를 실천해 나가도록 권고한 바 있습니다. 위원회 모임 중 교황님의 새 회칙 ‘모든 형제들 (Fratelli Tutti)' (아래 참조) 의 내용이 ‘상처 입은 세상에 종교간 연대로 봉사하기’ 문헌의 요지와 일맥상통한다고 결론을 내리고 이 두 문헌을 기도하는 마음으로 연구해 나가면 좋겠다고 의견을 모았습니다.
We have five members from each province on this committee. They are: Sisters Hyun Min Choi, Yeon Jeong Choi, Mary Clark, Gemma Del Duca, Melanie Di Pietro, Hyun Sook Kim, Sung Hae Kim, Moonkyung Park, Marie Theresa Rishel, Sun Nam Yun and Minah Ahn is our translator. Sister Jane Ann Cherubin is the liaison person from the general council for this committee.
위원들은 두 관구에 각각 다섯 명씩 구성되었고 최현민수녀, 최연정수녀, 메리 클락수녀, 젬마 델 듀카수녀, 멜라니 디피에트로수녀, 김현숙수녀, 김승혜수녀, 박문경수녀, 마리 데레사 리셀수녀, 윤순남수녀입니다. 안민아수녀가 통역을 맡고 있고 안재인수녀가 관구간종교대화위원회 위원장으로서 총이사회와의 연락을 담당하고 있습니다.
